Tutorial: Oh bandana!

Some of you have asked for a tutorial for the bandana look-a-like headband I made a while a ago. So, without any longer talks, let's start!

You'll need:

- Headband

- Bandana or other fabric

- Ribbon (matching with your fabric)

- Scissors, measuring tape, thread

- Hot glue gun/ fabric glue (you can even use strong two-sided tape)

- Sewing machine (if you're making the bow on top)

What to do:

1. If your headband is already covered  with fabric, remove it. (I also saved the bow that was glued on mine, maybe I'll be able to use it someday)

 2. From your fabric, measure and cut a piece that covers your headband. Cut also a piece of ribbon, that's as long as your headband + 1cm.

4. Glue the fabric onto your headband, only putting the glue on the inside of the headband. Make it really tight. Don't worry if it leaves small crinkles, like mine did.

 5. Glue the ribbon on, covering the "seam" of the fabric. If the ribbon is too long, just cut the ends and add some glue to secure the ribbon from fraying. (The reason we added +1cm, is simply to make sure it's long enough.)

 6. Cut a triangle shaped piece of the fabric. Make it as big/small as you want. This affects on the size of your bow.

 7. Sew a hem to the fraying edge, making it as small as possible.

 8. Tie the bow to your headband. Secure with a little drop of glue.

9. Rock on and wear it proudly!

ps. Yes, I'm still missing an iron and ironing board, so the fabrics are a bit creasy.
